Customize Your Wall Bed With Our Cabinet And Desk Options
Here at Monarch Murphy Beds, our murphy beds are so customizable! Each wall bed style has matching cabinets options you can add to your purchase. These matching cabinets are called piers.
No matter which piece of furniture you purchase, you can fully customize your murphy bed to include piers with shelves, filing cabinets, drawers, and more!
There are also options for side desks so that you can use your murphy bed in your home office, or to have desk space for your guests. This allows you to optimize your space in a dual-function way.
Western Monarchs Collection
Cabinets
Our western monarchs collection of murphy beds can be paired with side cabinets to complete your rooms space saving look. Cabinets are offered in combinations that include adjustable shelves, drawers, pull out trays, and doors. See murphy bed spec sheets for details on cabinets available.
Desk Cart
The deskcart is our most versatile workspace. It comes finished on all sides so it looks good in any position. It is the width of a queen size murphy bed and comes finished to match the bed. It includes nylon castors to easily roll aside when you lower down your bed. The desktop is the perfect height to roll a file cart underneath for added storage space.
A desk cart can be added to any of our western monarchs collection.
Peninsula Desk
For smaller rooms consider the peninsula desk. The desktop slides into a narrower 24″ wide door cabinet. The desktop extends 68″ into the room. The desk base features a pencil drawer, medium drawer and a lateral file drawer. It comes finished on three sides with an open-top which the desktop covers.
16″ of the DESKTOP slides into the pier cabinet just above the door leaving 68″ extending into the room.
A peninsula desk can be added to any of the western monarchs’ collections.
Shaped Desk
The advantage of the shaped desk is that you have some room for your chair to remain tucked in under the desktop when you lower the bed down and you can access both sides of the bed. A shaped desk can be added to any of our western monarchs collection.
The desk base features a pencil drawer, medium drawer and a lateral file drawer. Desk base comes finished on three sides with an open-top which the desktop covers.
The shaped desktop slides into the pier cabinet just above the double doors.
Nightstand
Add a nightstand when you want a lighter look but still appreciate having a surface for your cell phone and glasses along with needed extra storage space. Shown here is the nightstand which features two medium drawers and a pencil drawer. It fits up flush next to the wallbed and also has the baseboard notch so it fits up flush to the back wall. A nightstand can be added to any of our western monarchs collection.
Eastern Monarchs Collection
Vertical Side Cabinets
Looking to add extra storage next to your eastern monarchs murphy bed? Consider adding side cabinetry to match. Choose from a variety of combinations that include doors, open shelves, or drawers. The height of our vertical side cabinets sit below the height of our eastern monarchs collection. Accessories are also available to add onto your side cabinets which can include pull out night stands, pull out clothes valet, and glass shelving. Horizontal Side Cabinets
Need extra storage next to your eastern monarchs horizontal murphy bed? Consider adding horizontal side cabinetry to match your murphy bed. Choose from a variety of side cabinets that include doors, open shelves, or drawers. We offer three different standard size width of side cabinets – 18, 24, or 30 inches (these dimensions are from outside to outside). The height of our horizontal side cabinets sit below the height of our horizontal murphy beds.
Rolling Desk
A rolling desk is the perfect complement to our eastern monarchs collection, combining both functionality and style. This desk features a compact design that can be easily tucked away when not in use. The desk and murphy bed work together to create a multi-functional space in any room, providing a comfortable and stylish place to work or sleep.
